Hidey exists because hiding photos should not mean handing them to someone else’s server.
Most photo vaults ask you to trust them completely: with your most private photos, with their cloud, and with how they protect both. Many never say how.
Hidey takes a different approach. Files are encrypted on your phone. Backups go to storage you already own. And the security model, including its weak spots, is written down where anyone can read it.

Nothing is stored or uploaded before it is encrypted on your phone.
Your storage
We don’t run a server that holds your files. Backups go to your Google Drive or your own S3 storage.
Say the trade-offs
Ads, analytics and Google-based PIN reset are disclosed plainly, with ways to avoid them.
Generous free plan
No limits on how much you hide. Pro is for extras, not for holding your photos hostage to a paywall.
